I worked my way through college working as a PlayBoy Bunny
here in Dallas and graduated from UTD. Immediately moved to
Los Angeles, Calif. and began a successful career as an actress
in movies like Scarface and Nightshift, and TV shows like
Married With Children, Who's the Boss, and Dangerous Curves.
But most of my 12 years in Hollywood were spent working on
soap operas - including 8 years on Young & the Restless,
2 years on Days of our Lives, and 1 year on General Hospital.
I took a short 1 year hiatus from California and worked as
a Las Vegas Show Girl at the Flamingo in "Razzle Dazzle
on Ice", and did the same performance back in LA live
during the 55th Annual Academy Awards. During all this I also
worked the auto show circuit as a spokesperson model for Infiniti,
Buick, Isuzu, and Lincoln Mercury. I finally gave it all up
and, after my husband's job took us to Florida for a year
of living on the ocean, we headed home to Dallas, a better
place to raise my kids. I wanted them to grow up with grandparents
and cousins.
I was recently wheelchair bound off and on for 2 or 3 years,
but thanks to a major leg reconstruction surgery, I am once
again mobile - at least for now. I teach Sunday School and
I am home schooling both of our children. It feels good to
finally "settle down".
You may remember my little sister Kendra (class of 78), she
live in Plano near my parents, is married with 3 kids and
not knowing when to quit --> is about to deliver two more
(Yes, over 40 and very fat & pregnant with twins).
My dad retired a couple of years ago from Channel 4, but hasn't
really stopped working. My husband, Matt, is the VP of Operations
for Applebee's International (1300 restaurants nationwide).
